Information for Authors
Welcome
Welcome to the project. We know how hard it is to find time to
contribute to a project like this and we appreciate any and all
contributions of any size.
Before embarking on an assignment realise that it can take a few
days to get setup, especially if you are using a system we aren't very
familiar with. Don't be discouraged as we'll do everything we can to
get you up and running.
Should you discover that you can't complete your assignment or just
don't have time for the project, please let us know. It is very helpful
for us to know who can't contribute as soon as they know. Otherwise we send unanswered
emails and we don't ever know what went wrong.
Remember: even if
you can't complete your assignment even a portion of it is a contribution
we'll gladly accept.
Need Help? - Admin Team's Responsibilities
We are the admin team of FHSST. We try to keep things running smoothly
and help out with any problems. Every one of us is also a contributing
author. The team with their responsibilities is listed below:

We have a mailing list that we use and non-members can post to it. If
you need help or have any questions please address your email to the
responsible person above and send it to:
fhsst-admin-priv AT nongnu DOT org
Our policy is that the responsible person will respond to any emails but
we should all be up to speed on what is happening for times when people
are unavailable, in which case another member of the admin team will repsond.
To try to get you involved as smoothly as possible we have a small
checklist of things you need to get through.
Checklist For New Authors
- Browse the books and look at the sections that we still
require to get an idea of where you'd like to contribute content or edit
- Contact the member of the admin team responsible for your choice activity
- Join the mailing list and read the list etiquette page
- Before getting started check our resources to help you get started
Large scale involvement:
Remember: the admin team is there to help so if you have any problems with
any of the steps just send us an email and we'll do our best to help.
