In both screenshots the program was running on an plain 800Mhz Pentium III without hardware 3d acceleration.

The Moon texture is based on the Clementine UVVIS 750-nm Basemap. The dataset used for this demo session was overview data at a resolution of 0.5 km/pixel (roughly 390Mb). This image is from a 300km altitude circular orbit.
