Right, I'm really sorry that this is so patchy right now, but my top priority is writing and documenting the program and using it to run a couple of web sites, so I've not much time for propaganda just yet. Maybe once we hit beta, then I will. (Yes, the implication is that the sites using site-engine are currently running an alpha release... and it works!)
For now, all that I can do is point you at some more useful information about the project, its developer and background:
Why am I developing this and not using one of the numerous php/MySQL things that do similar functions? Well, I've had my fingers burnt badly in the past - even if the code is usable today, give it a few years and see what happens. (I'm sure that some PHP projects are run by excellent programmers and will be fine, but I'm not a betting man, so you'll excuse me if I don't try that gamble a third time.) There are also some nice features to this code which I've not seen elsewhere. High among them are:
Yes, I know I said I had little time for propaganda. That implies some time is available. ;-)
OK, if you've read this far, you must be really committed, so please join the mailing list on the project page and start asking questions. Remember: there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
