Supporto ODBC pro Python

Le objectivo de iste projecto es le realisation de un modulo ODBC pro Python. Currentemente, il existe duo altere modulos ODBC: un, appellate mxODBC, es proprietari, durante que le altere es software libere ma existe solmente pro Windows (illo es parte del pacchetto win32all).

Le codice de iste projecto es basate super le modulo ODBC del win32all, ma pote esser compilate (e functionar!) equalmente in Linux, a condition que un installation functionante de iODBC o unixODBC es presente.

ODBC support for Python

The goal of this project is the realization of a ODBC module for Python.
Currently, there are two other ODBC modules: one, named mxODBC, is proprietary, while the other is free software but exists only for Windows (it is part of the win32all package).

The code of this project is based upon the ODBC module of win32all, but can be compiled (and work!) even in Linux, provided that a working installation of iODBC or unixODBC is present.
