• GNU GRUB is the base of PUPA.

• Erich's GRUB is the ancestor of GNU GRUB.
• Etherboot is a good source of compact NIC drivers.
• LILO is an antique boot loader only for Linux.
• SYSLINUX is a set of boot loaders only for Linux.
