Get FreeDink
Download the latest version from the Git repository (see the "Source Code" tab at the top of this page for all details).

DFArc2 is now integrated in FreeDesktop-compliant environments such as GNOME and KDE. Here's a screenshot presenting association with .dmod files. You'll also notice that DFArc2 can talk in new languages :)

The frontend now can work with separate Dink and D-Mods directories, and can look for 'dink' and 'dinkedit' in standard locations ($PATH rather than in the Dink directory). It also got some clean-up and polishing (resizeable windows, faster packaging, compression stats...) :)

It took me a while to figure it all, but I now have the basic technical infrastructure for WinDinkedit.
Here's a screenshot of the editor engine within a PyGtk GUI:
