For now, this extension is written to function on a GNU/Linux system. In the future, with some help from some other developers, and with the knowledge that php build system is "portable", i write instructions on how to compile this extension on other systems.

Talking about the license, i prefer GPL v2 (for some license constrains about PHP License and LGPL license, used in SDL project ).
