7.8 ‘--no-bounce’

The ‘--no-bounce’ option specifies that programming operations should not be bounced (see Bouncing) through the target device’s RAM. Using this option will mean that programming will be somewhat slower. This option may be useful if you suspect that the bounce algorithm is faulty.
