Chapter 1. Getting started

1.1. To Start GChemPaint

You can start GChemPaint in the following ways:

Applications menu

Choose Science->Chemical Structures Editor.

Command line

Type gchempaint, then press Return.

GChemPaint can also be run as a Goffice component. This makes possible to embed some chemistry in Abiword.

When using the command line, some options are available:

-e, --edit-residue

Open residues dialog.

-F, --full-screen

Open new windows full screen.

-M, --maximize

Open new window maximized.

-?, --help

Show application help options.
